The historic town of Diriyah is a global tourism destination with its main anchors rooted in its historic culture and heritage.
At-Turaif lies at the cultural heart of Diriyah. Being built in 1766 and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010, it was here that Diriyah's ruling family lived under the leadership of Imam Mohammad bin Saud, the forefather of Saudi Arabia's current King, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Al Nuzul can be activated to illustrate the traditional social life of Diriyah at the time, each house represents one aspect of Diriyah’s social life in the first Saudi state.
Al Nuzul highlighted aspects of culture that were perpetuated in Diriyah during the 18th century. Mudbrick building, date preservation, traditional medicine, historical schooling, and the crafting of the first Saudi flag are featured in the footage.
You must discover these traditional Saudi houses to enjoy this adventure of the first Saudi state, and how the streets, schools, and the food looked years ago.
